Canada Day 2006, June 30 - July 3, 2006
This year's pilgrimage to Ottawa for Canada Day included a side trip to Montreal for two days... I say it every year, "this year, could have been the best one yet" ... and let me tell you ... this year, could have been the best one yet. I hadn't been to Montreal in some time and it was Sheila's first time to La Belle Provence.
Even in the absence of Darren, we stayed at his swank, 70's inspired pad ... check out the sunken seating area in the lobby.

And off the next day to Montreal, we were meeting up with Mike & staying at the same hotel. Hotel Godin, below.

Immediately you feel as though you're in Quebec - not Ontario.
But having said that, you also feel more Parisian ...
