Barone Lodge, Aug 4-6, 2006
Well ... I finally made it out to Eugene and Noelle's place in South Hampton.
Drove out there.

Enjoyed the Scenic Drive.
Checked out the Lodge.
The house portion, built in 1972 for a chiropractor who lived on one side, and had his practice on the other side - was a fantastic space. A true jem.

There was an interior atrium.

And all of this was furnished when the clients, and their architect took a month in Scandinavia to shop. Everything was sent over in a container.

Detail shot of the hidden 'wall of beauties' ... this was a backlit photo montage which had an opaque glass cover which slides up and down (and is counter balanced)
Tonight, the chef cooked over wood coals.
Grilled Crostini (Grilled Bread, rubbed with garlic & basil, goat cheese, red onion + grilled zucchini)
Luna ... the dog.
Had an awesome dinner.

Angelina, and the doll show.
Sheila was the audience.
Shot of the courtyard, which was a coy pond initially - but is now a handy herb garden.
Believe it or not, I never took any pictures from the beach - which we went to Saturday & Sunday. After the beach, we had another awesome meal.
Angelina, Noelle, Eugene, Myself, Sheila and ... Mike took the pic.
Fresh tomato, bocconcinini, basil & parmesan cheese.
Went out for a coffee. And it was a good coffee. Eugene trained these 13 year old girls to properly use this machine.
And they made excellent coffee. In a beach town of 2500, I wasn't expecting much ... but I was impressed.
Then went down and caught the sunset.

Yah, it's a big flag.
Noelle + Angelina.
Here's that sunset.
And then a leisurely stroll home.
Next day, we headed back to Toronto.
Good times.
