jo had to forego his ticket for this match, so I took Sheila ... she made pancakes for breakfast!
Sheel made the trek (crutch and all) from Jo's place to BMO Field ...
We were photographed for the "sony fans of the game" ...
cbc broadcast this game ...
Here's me and Sheel @ the seats ...
the supporters were in fine form ..
and after an entire history (4 games) without one, Toronto FC scored the first goal in it's history ... Danny Dichio made that history
the fans then threw their "frisbee-esque" seat covers onto the field ... seriously, what did they expect? They gave everyone a free, lightweight, frisbee like seat cushion .....
then Dichio earned (albeit unfairly) Toronto FC's first Red Card for a minor fracas that the goalie started (but wasn't even cautioned for)
if Dichio wasn't before, he is now a fan favourite ... especially since he's always 'stuck in' & he plays the most like a hockey player (and this is after all Toronto)
Chicago equalized, then Toronto went up two more for a 3-1 final result. Here's what it looked like after the third goal! (video I took & posted on YouTube)
Then the Toronto FC Banner made its way across the stadium ...
